PMMA Nanoparticles
Our PMMA (Polymethylmethacrylate) based nanospheres are available in sizes between 100 nm to 500 nm. They are characterized by a narrow particle size distribution (see adjacent SEM image) and an excellent lot-to-lot reproducibility. PMMA submicron beads are biocompatible and thus suited for live cell applications. Latex beads with carboxy and aldehyde for immobilization of biomolecules (proteins, antibodies, haptens, etc.) as well as plain beads are available:
• Carboxylated, fluorescent submicron beads
• Aldehyde modified, fluorescent submicron beads

Applications
We offer a large range of different PMMA nanoparticles suitable for nanobead based technologies, including:
• Immunoturbidimetric assays
• Nephelometric assays
• Solid phase immunoassays
• Calibration (e.g. flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy)
